R. W. Chapman's collection of Jane Austen's letters. Includes notes, maps, illustrations. Chapman's second edition adds a few letters and makes a few changes that he describes in the Preface, otherwise similar to the 1932 first edition. Then in 1959 it was reprinted with corrections. This copy from 1969 is the 3rd printing of the corrected second edition. The book is almost like new. The Jacket is price-clipped and has a light wear and smudges.
