First edition not dated, but the introduction, believed to be by  M.A. Austen-Leigh, is dated June, 1895. Gilson has quite a bit of information in entry F2, where he explains that a note inserted in the Bodleian's copy explains the charades were printed to be sold at a Bazaar held for the beneift of St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London.
