Although a Greek princess, Marina [1906-1968] was 3/4 Russian and 1/4 Danish. The story starts in 1830 at the end of the Greek War of Independence when the search was on for a new monarch, and Marina's grandfather became King George I. The book continues to the time of her death in 1968. Also related to Russian and British Royals, she married Prince George, Duke of Kent in 1934.
