This document consists of one sheet of paper folded in half. Le Faye draws on James Austen's affectionate poems to his son JEAL about the planting of the lime tree by the rectory in 1813. She describes James Edward's visit after the rectory had been demolished where he finds little trace of the former home, except for the lime tree.
