Edited by Louise Ross. Introduction to each novel by David Gilson. Set number 21 out of 75. Title page of Volume I of Sense and Sensibility is signed by Gilson and Ross. Facsimile reproduction of the first editions. The set was constructed to mimic as closely as possible the way the first editions would have been produced.  As first published, the first four novels are in 3 volumes each. Northanger Abbey and Persuasion are together in 4 volumes. Facsimile of the first edition of Lord Brabourne collected letters of Jane Austen in two volumes, and Memoir of Jane Austen by James Edward Austen-Leigh. This limited edition in boards has cream/white cloth spines with paper labels and blue/gray boards. Printed on acid-free paper to last generations. A lovely cream/white cloth slipcase is included that holds the entire 19 volume set. 23 1/2 inches total shelf space is required. Books and case in almost as-new condition, all very clean. Two of the paper labels have a sightly curled corner which you may be able to see in the photo (Emma Vol. III and Northanger Abbey & Persuasion Vol. III). *Shipping fees extra, and shipping of slipcase may require some special planning.
